@Dusty42402999 Bean yields a real yawner last 10 years. RR2, Flex and Liberty brought us up from 2010-2020 but last five years no genetic gain with E3 and XF.

@Dusty42402999 @curtismckain1 Yes. They get the $ and more that the direct payment was. Used to spend $3-5 for a safety net the way it was supposed to be. Now we gamble $ to guess if we will have a loss.

@curtismckain1 @Dusty42402999 That was the point 15 or so years ago when they took the direct payment and shoved into crop ins. Now you got this monster. It’s doesn’t register on the global scale as a subsidy.

@DarrenFischer Those trucks melted in the salt. I’ve never seen something lose rocker panels in 5-7 years like they did. My 05’ was on its second set 8-years ago when I lost track of it.

@Storm5farms @BigAgRuinsAg Just like every other aspect of farming they have the power to control every $ the farmer makes. Seed, fertilizer, banking, grain, inputs etc

@GrainTrend @JerodMcDaniel The disparity in land price vs the crop they produce has probably never been higher. Early 2000’s it took 1500bu corn to buy one acre $2/$3000. Today it’s at least 2000bu. 1031 is not helping.
