I've been binging Harry Potter to distract myself from TROS (kinda like eating comfort food, but in movie form). The opening scene of the 8th film remains one of the best openings I've ever seen. Its so hauntingly beautiful, chills every time (Lily's theme is an amazing score!)

Rian saw that the more important part of Rey's arc was with Ben, not Finn and Poe. That's why he established THIS⬇️ trio in tlj. JJ cutting out Rose in tros put too much of the story onto Rey (she had to be a trio and a dyad at the same time) and it took away from her development
