As a chess feminist I’m sorry to say this is inaccurate. At the top level tournaments women are able to play in the open section, but men aren’t allowed to play in womens tournaments. There’s lots of misogyny in chess to be discussed but I just wanted to correct the facts.

2022 US Open! I had the biggest upset of the tournament, beating a 2150 in round 1. And was 1.5/4 after only playing 1900+ opponents! But then I burned out and only finished 4/9. My lowest loss to an 1850. Still not bad for my 1500 Elo. I need to improve my mental stamina😫
