At Moyes’ last Goodison game as Everton manager, West Ham fans sang ‘Where’s your Moyesy gone?’ Everton fans responded ‘You’ve got Sam Allardyce’.

Everton have been terrible for years now, and relegation wouldn’t be an unfair appraisal of where they are. But they’ve been absolutely robbed by referees this season, and wouldn’t be in the bottom three without that.

Actually quite flabbergasted by this. The Premier League CEO calling any of its 20 clubs "small" would be bafflingly terrible judgement let alone ones who've won as many league titles as Everton and as many European Cups as Forest. Just appalling leadership on such a key issue.

They interviewed Seamus Coleman after donating to injured Liverpool fan Sean Cox, deemed his answers to be - I presume - too boring, and made up something about Everton fans. That's so disrespectful to everyone involved.

Completely disrespectful to Everton and Dyche to make up a lie to justify not applying the rules fairly. Keep this sort of thing in mind when they talk about respect for referees. It's a two-way street.

Few thoughts on the derby... Liverpool were closer to their best than Everton were. A point after a poor display against the champions is both surprising and encouraging. Everton will not face that level of performance very often this season. They should not fear anyone.

Like Niasse re: diving, it's standard for Everton to face the most severe interpretation of the rules while their opponents are regularly let off. No booking for Shelvey after his foul on Gordon and a three-match ban for Allan for fouling Saint-Maximim cannot be justified.
