We lost my amazing maternal grandmother, Isabel Gil Damet, on Monday. She was a woman of incredible beauty, grace, and talent. I will miss her since we got to spend many great years together. These are recent photos from her trip last year to SF at the ripe old age of 98. QEPD.

We lost my incredible grandmother earlier this year. She would have been 100 today. She survived the Spanish Civil War, emigrated twice, and was one of the kindest, brightest, and happiest people I know. We were blessed with many wonderful years. Celebrating her life today!

Iβm on record saying we need to follow everyone who tested positive for CoVID with real world evidence (RWE) + βomics. Worse thing that happens is you build a massive longitudinal cohort and oversample (like CoVID) the poor, the sick, those who canβt shelter in places, etc.

Thank you! This project is the latest in a decades long collaboration with @morestrada and @lan_KarlaSM that has itβs roots at @OfficialSMBE Barcelona in 2008 when we decided we needed much better methods and data for population genomics in the Americas and beyond.
