Tortoise are sometimes unusual. My grandpa had a pet tortoise in Glendale in the 1970s. It came with the house. It had a den built into the ground with decorative rocks. It was a fenced backyard. It could be curious and friendly. Loved to eat lettuce. Stayed out of the pool.

Side sleeper. Memory foam mattress or 3 inch topper from Costco helps a lot. One arm goes under pillow. Add adjustable base incline the head a few degrees to further relieve shoulder pressure.
