You see that light on the Eucharist? It’s NOT a spotlight. It’s the sun breaking through from the outside. At the EXACT moment Jesus in the host made it to the stage.
The Christmas novena begins today...so many things to pray for. Let's not forget to pray for the interior peace that Advent points to and the coming of the Christ Child at Christmas should bring. 🙏 That will be my prayer for you.

On this solemnity of the Assumption of Mary into heaven, give new meaning to the words of Jesus: “Behold your mother.” Pray the Rosary. 🙏Behold her, aflame with love, alight with a weight that has no terminal velocity, assumed into heaven as a new Elijah.
Joan of Arc appears four times in the Catechism of the Catholic Church—each time summarizing an important theological point with wisdom and simplicity. Her final prayer—arguably a summary of all prayer—was “Jesus.”

Poland is land of remarkable spiritual wealth and no country has done more for Ukrainians than it.
In just over 100 days, this Catholic country of 38 million has opened its arms to receive over 3 million Ukrainian refugees. That's a Catholic statistic if I've ever seen one.
Padre Pio was canonized on this day 20 yrs ago. His body is as incorrupt as it was the day he died. His ability to read souls still moves many to make a good confession. And his love before the Bread of life still inspires devotion to the Eucharist.

What fueled the graces so evidently poured out during the Eucharistic Congress? Surely the sacrifices of the faithful who joined the perpetual pilgrims along the four routes bent heaven toward earth, pulling untold graces from the heart of Jesus.
My grandmother’s funeral was today, on her 98th birthday. Born in 1925, she lived through the Great Depression, was married just after the Second World War, lived 51 years with her husband, had six kids, and over twice as many grandchildren. What a life. May she rest in peace. 🙏
