Super excited to share how Apple is deploying homomorphic encryption! It'll be used for private information retrieval (mail, calls, content restrictions) and private nearest neighbor search (photos). This was an amazing effort across multiple teams! 💪🎉

@Cryptomaeher @hdevalence @oleganza Where a CompressedRistretto point is 32 bytes and a scalar is also 32 bytes. If you're using uncompressed Ristretto points then it'll be 4 field elements per point. See the curve25519-dalek crate for those sizes / impls.
