Also worth noting that pretty much any time you say anything fucked up to Wyll he basically refuses to process a single negative emotion and then composes poetry for you about how you deserve the world regardless. And that's just never addressed as a thing he should stop doing

for that and no follow-through. he's never power hungry. he ends up being a good duke. it seems as if they kept in a line that was meant for another version of wyll that we didn't get in full release, but this is also literally one of his most pivotal decisions/scenes. (6/)

I do think that Wyll's unique position as son of the Grand Duke, with the added expectation on him, definitely added a weight to the decision- but absolutely, people need to be more aware of what a no-win, panic-inducing decision it would be for anyone in his shoes

i dole out relevant items to relevant characters (stolen/looted items for astarion, scrolls for gale, throwable corpses for karlach, etc) but this resulted in astarion, who Sells all the looted items, having like 75% of the party funds at any given time
