7 games this weekend, thinking this is too much for me now!!Definitely need some more refs. Only 1 had a few divvies on the line that had never come across me before🤣🤣.I always say if you put the effort in,it ain't that bad and people do appreciate you doing it!!!

I was considering taking a break this coming season, 12 month sabbatical from refereeing. However a 4 week break seems to have recharged the batteries and doing 2 games today has shown how much I'd miss it!!! 🤯🤯🤣🤣⚽️⚽️

And that is 2022/23 season done. Disappointed with early season performance tried to be to technical instead of making decisions on instinct.Back next season to do it all again,but reducing it to Saturdays only,thanks to all the teams and clubs this season I've reffed,no issues

Weekend fixtures are out,Friday night football for me,FC Bootle vs Mossley Hill,then over to the Racecourse Saturday,Aintree Villa vs Marshalls.Should be 2 top games,with a couple of youth Saturday morning. So much for slowing down this year 😂⚽️💙👏

Game needed a ref today so ended up doing a double header in this heat,chatting to a fella at water breaks, at end of game said I had boss game,top ref you,got one wrong there I reckon in 2nd half the offside,the one I was 50 yards away at a corner,ye that one,I'll take that!!

My back spasms returned this week which resulted in the GP telling me I must stop reffing & running(i know😁)with immediate effect or I will cause permanent damage to my back,shocker. So for now,that's it for me in the middle

Just refereed a top game their Sefton vs City of Liverpool. Decided by a worldy volley from 30 yards by a centre half, tipped onto the post by the keeper, who nearly produced a world class save. Some games are just their to appreciate ⚽️💙
