Daughter in France is so happy she was accepted at a ceramics residency program at A.I.R. Vallauris near Cannes. 6-week residency and then a show. The town is famous for hundreds of years of ceramic artistry including hosting Picasso and Cezanne for their ceramic periods.

Our Bridgeport CT Goodwill just got $500k federal Dept of Labor grant to help homeless vets get jobs and housing. It’s for 3 years. They interviewed a vet who got a job and housing last round; his apt is nice and he’s still working. He had a big grin on his face. Proud to see it.

Friend Ben passed away this morning in an ambulance to the ER.He’d had two heart devices, an ablation, a bad drug reaction, stays in rehab, 3 falls on his returns home, and a partial hip replacement from the falls. It was a tough few months and a hard way to go. He will be missed.

My good friend Yolanda has permanent custody of her 2 granddaughters. She cleans houses to support them all and owns her own home and car. The girls get free breakfast and lunch at school. That really helps Yolanda. I want to thank everyone for supporting this program!.
