RT @Phillips_M_G: This story is so absurd I had to check it was reported the same way in another newspaper

As people in #Morganstown will know, traffic gets pretty bad outside the shopping estate at certain points of the year. That’s why I’m pushing @cardiffcouncil for a yellow box to help with traffic flow. Glad the Cabinet Member will take a closer look. We’re not asking for much!

Only took a deadline provided by Cardiff Conservative cllrs - passed unanimously by the Council - to get this. We note minsters gave the green light only hours before that deadline was hit. I’m glad we got a cross-party consensus - but Labour were solely behind the stupid delay.

Less than one week left for @WelshGovernment to approve the Cardiff Parkway project! @cardiffcouncil unanimously called for decision before our next meeting. It is unacceptable for ministers to pretend to care about this project and call it in but wait 3 years for a ruling!
I was pleased to second the successful Conservative amendment to a debate on the long-awaited Cardiff Parkway project It is unacceptable that the Welsh Labour Government has dragged its heels on this without reason The Council was unanimous - ministers have 9 weeks to say yes!

If there was no devolution, then news (& funding) would be relevant to all Brits but, with it in place, you have a London media that fails to reflect the devolved context and a Welsh media too weak to scrutinise those in power. The people of Wales lose. Do better @thetimes 2/2

@cjsnowdon @LukeDyks What a coincidence - the Scottish Government found the same thing happened after they introduced the MUP! These zealots just won’t be told.

Wales didn’t do this - a political class created by devolution & let loose with power but without accountability has They are divorced from the public’s priorities, pursuing an agenda of separatism & leftist dogma as they know they can’t deliver meaningful change to what matters

It is totally unacceptable that the Labour Government in #Cardiff Bay claims to have concerns about this project yet refuses to make a call after 3 YEARS! @cardiffcouncil unanimously called for a decision by our next meeting. They’ve got 24 days left. And we want a YES!
