The calendar math using *that* system with such a late Labor Day and season start, does still lead to the Super Bowl indeed being on Valentine's Day 2027. It's not an extra game/week, just late.

Not quite. TL;DR: Labor Day 2026 is just really late, so the start of the 2026 season will be late, the calendar math for the whole season DOES land on the Super Bowl on Valentine's Day 2027.
