Tapping into my own ability to heal and center has helped my confidence and self-sufficiency. When I feel the edge of a panic attack, or just start feeling particularly stressed, Iā€™ve found meditation gets me back on track faster than anything else.

"...mindfulness doesnā€™t just happen ā€” it takes work and itā€™s important to practise when times are easier because then, in the midst of difficult situations, mindfulness starts to come more naturally and can be a powerful tool."

@martinaj70Ā Thank you for bringing this to our attention!Ā Our developers had a look at this and it seems that there was an issue on our end - this should now be fixed.

Moving. Tasting. Chewing. Swallowing. See if you can notice the decision which starts the eating process. What does it feel like? Moving. Tasting. Chewing. Swallowing. Becoming more intimate with this most ordinary of experiences. Have a lovely Easter Monday.

@exitghost Hi Jes, lovely to hear from you! We've thought a lot about this and at the moment haven't moved forward with plans of adding in an alternate interface. However, this may change in the future if we find a great way of doing it.

What feeling is here? Once we know what the feeling is letā€™s see if we can try to get to know this emotion a little better Maybe this emotion has something to tell us Maybe thereā€™s something new we can learn If this feeling were an animal, which one would it be?

Today we had a lovely learning lunch by watching the deeply insightful and enjoyable John Maeda present his annual Design in Tech Report. Some amazingly creative tools and projects on display, our favourite highlight being the Braille Neue typeface.

In some ways we can think of our minds as being quite like a garden. One way we can grow happiness in our mind and body is by planting seeds of kindness. I wish for you to be happy and healthy. I wish for you to have fun and enjoy your life. I wish for you to know I care.

Travelling, however you do it, can be a lovely opportunity for mindfulness and meditation. Weā€™ll make the intention to stay in the present, stay in the now. Aware of the sounds around you. Aware of the sights around you. Aware of any thoughts that come up. Resting in the Now.

Aware of the phone, while using the phone. How heavy does it feel? If your phone has a case, what does the texture of the case feel like? Move your fingers across all areas of your phone and see what different textures there are. Simple body awareness. Simple phone awareness.

What if we didnā€™t use a technique at all? No technique. Just meditation. Just sitting. Simple. Relaxed. Open. Aware. Just sitting. Knowing what is happening. Not making anything special. Just sitting. Knowing what is happening. Letting everything be special.
