Injuries are part of the game, but risk can be managed with tons of different variables that has to be taken into consideration (ex: management of workload, recovery time, proper management of pitch counts, etc) Ignoring these principles is a recipe for disaster📉 Smart training respects structure and function - it’s not just about throwing harder but throwing smarter💡

More internal rotation in the humerus alters its relationship with the ulna, increasing rotational torque and stress on the elbow ➡️ This is why throwers often develop medial elbow issues—due to adaptations in the shoulder and upper body that affect elbow mechanics‼️

Incredibly proud of Ethan and the work he has been putting in with us @BSFpitching In a year and a half he’s gone from 79-81 to 89-90 T-91 mph📈 This was his first high intent pen with us after following our return to throw program after taking some time off after this past summer ball season💪🏼 Now our shift of focus after this high intent pen is to fine tune his offspeed pitches and work on situations during his next few bullpens with us while managing the volume and intensity!✅ Extremely proud of this kid and the work he’s done to get to where he’s currently at. Everyday he comes in with a desire to learn while holding himself to a high standard! A true leader!!!🗣️

Extremely proud of BSF athlete Ryan Wollschlager! 🤝🏻 Ry started training with me remotely 3 years ago before I moved to Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports Domes to build @BSFpitching. Since then, he’s made tremendous strides, jumping from 73-75 mph to 84-87 mph—and he’s just getting started! 📈🔥 Keep grinding, leading, and advocating for yourself! This kid holds himself to the highest standard in our facility—Pepperdine got a great one. 🔥💪🏼

Here’s why training resisted & controlled rotation matters for baseball athletes⬇️ ▫️Throwing & hitting aren’t just about generating power—they’re about controlling it.
