Interviews for teaching assistant today: One candidate had travelled overnight from their home country of Belgium to attend. When we asked her why she wanted to work for us? she said that once I found out you were sponsored by the coop I knew this was the right school for me.
Today we mobilised our amazing staff and organised the distribution of 280 chrome books and 60 iPads so that all our pupils can have access to on-line remote learning during the lockdown. Thank you to all parents for coming to school to collect.
Thank you to all the amazing teachers, teaching assistant at Brownhill. You have excelled in difficult times. You should be proud of our pupils and all you have achieved.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Winter Wellbeing event. Some amazing health and financial advice and also face painting and balloons to keep the children occupied. Look how many families came.
The end of our first day Of re-opening for families in YR1 and YR6. Such a positive start. The staff were amazing ensuring every child felt welcomed and happy, the children had smiles on their faces, our parents as always were supportive.

Yearly outing. Off to Bridlington! Sun shining started with one bus but so popular now have to have three buses to take all our families. Have a great time. 😎😎
The Christmas attendance trolley is ready and it will be visiting each class next week. Make sure you have 100% weekly attendance so that you can visit. Don’t forget for those self isolating, you can still earn your rewards for logging on and completing remote learning every day
We are proud of our staff, who have done an amazing job this week ensuring school is open for key workers and vulnerable pupils. Proud of our teachers for delivering quality on-line learning. But most of all proud of our children for doing an amazing job on google classroom.

Mr Ingle's gardening club used the sunshine to check on their plants. They've got some lovely daffodils and crocuses blooming! As well as some rhubarb and spring cabbage, which they're going to cook up soon.
Absolute pleasure being able to deliver these presents for our families this week with gifts and food vouchers kindly gifted by the Yorkshire Children’s Charity! Thank you so much for making Christmas magical for our children!! ✨

If they stare,
Let them stare,
You can’t blend in ,
When you’re born to stand out.
Always be yourself.
Always and
Never judge a book by it’s cover
Never judge a face by its appearance

We had a visit from Nightingale school to have a look round our garden. The workshop was to get ideas to take back to school. Our yr6 students put a little workshop on for them that was very successful. Well done to both schools.👏👏👏

As part of class buddies system, we now have purple benches in the playground so if a child needs a friend they can use them and a class buddy will be there to support them. 👍👍👍
