Okay, it's fixed now in private servers. It will slow roll and update across all. It was a edge case for players with the bulk mastery that wasn't addressed.

This has been confirmed to be a roblox service outage. It has been mitigated and everything should be back to normal by now.
It was not specific to pet sim, we just have aggressive systems in place to prevent data loss so you are kicked immediately when we can no longer save.

You have to claim the dark mattered pets for the credit to be awarded for that quest. We can update the language so it's more clear
