I remember my son texting me during a lock down that wasn't a drill (bank robbery nearby but didn't know that at the time). He said he was too big to fit in the cubby and too big to hide under a desk. I could sense his fear in the messages. He said "mom, there's nowhere to hide".

Alright time to share my news. Last week the teens and I got approved for an apartment. The very next day I got a job. So tomorrow the teens get the day off school and I start my job! Hopefully we get moved to our place in about a month. 😎

The weekend was such a shit show that I forgot to mention.... I got 100% on my research proposal. Finished my masters program with a 4.0 which was a goal I set when I started. I did this while having 4 brain surgeries so I'm pretty fucking proud.

March 21st will be one year since brain surgery 4. March 20th I finish grad school which I was able to maintain during those surgeries. I deserve a trip to make ME happy. No explanation for anyone. No doing what others want. I'm doing what I want.
