I made a trip to Pikeville earlier today and went up to the scenic overlook above Bob Amos Park. I had never been up there until today. What an amazing view! I'm trying to get out and explore more beautiful scenes like this one across the mountains. What else do I "need to see"?

Final update: We have escaped! The news is great. The EEG was completely normal. So, it looks like it was a medicine level issue after all.

Day 2 update: So far, so good. The doctor said the EEG has looked good. They also performed a test to try to induce a seizure and it had no effect. If all goes according to plan, we’ll break free sometime tomorrow. Side note: One of my nurses is from Knott County! Small world!

What a difference one year makes. On September 1st, 2021, I was in Tampa having my second brain surgery to have most of a cancerous tumor removed. Today, I’m still doing what I love. God continues to bless me. Thank you for all of your support in the last 12 months! 🤍

It’s been more than 24 hours since dad died and it’s still hard to believe he’s gone. The next two days are going to be some of the hardest of my life. I’ve lost both of my parents and fought/beat brain cancer in less than 4 years.
