I don’t think there’s even a 2% chance of that happening. Society won’t automatically just coalesce especially when 1/2 the country believes it’s being strip mined to enrich a billionaire. America will continue to fracture until it breaks. Trust in our institutions would take decades to be rebuilt, if they even could be at all.

The comments here are great. Lee, someone with a real world understanding of the issue lays it out objectively and of course you get post after post of aggrieved MAGA’s who think their experts on how Govt’s should obtain data, or on how much a product like this should cost. A product mind you that (A) none of them have seen or used (B) have any knowledge on how it’s utilized or used. Just moron after moron cosplaying as subject matter experts. In 3 weeks they’ll be on to whatever the next MAGA outrage target is.
