@richjmadrid It has nothing to do with the roster. It has to do with the position. Coaches and GMs that blow 3 1sts on a bust at QB don't tend to keep their jobs after that QB busts

@richjmadrid I think you're overthinking it. I think he means that they blew 3 1sts on Lance, and normally when a move like that doesn't work out, there isn't another rookie-scale player at the position to step in and play at a high level, so it's back to using another high pick on a QB

@TheJuiceTDGuy I think this is a hedge that Saleh will likely get another HC opportunity in 2026, and KJ Wright is not far enough along in the timeline to be the successor like DeMeco was when Saleh left the first time
