That’s why the answer is founding many new uni’s. There’s a glut of PhD’s, bad science, sky high tuition, overcrowding, poor resource allocation, etc. Perfect time for some entrepreneurial disruption. If Elon Musk can build falcon heavy I think we can stop crying & get this done.

Honest comment: I’d love to know where people get their information about “factory farming.” My hunch is documentaries. I’m not sure how reliable this is. They’re typically made by activists not seeking objectivity, but persuasion—lots of cherry picking, use of emotive music, etc

The obvious point is that market mechanisms can get this done without a federal make-work program.
The reason it hasn’t been accomplished is incentives and obstacles. Yang proposed grants and cheap financing programs to help shoulder the upfront cost of home solar.
