First impressions of @InfinitaCity's biotech pop-up city w/in the @ProsperaZEDE on Roatan, Honduras - A vibrant community of inquisitive learners, dedicated builders, and expressive artists. It's been a pleasure getting to know many other attendees and seeing this whole event come together atop the foundation of these 21st century network-state, startup-society frameworks. With attendees mostly on the younger side, it's felt like a blend between a tech company and college campus, with regular collaboration and classroom discussion I wish my college years were more like. And now we enter Crypto Cities Week starting tomorrow! More to come.

These guys are fantastic. I was honored they took the time to sit down with me to dive into these groundbreaking topics. With so much activity on the ground, it's enlightening to scale back and see the big picture of what's happening in this space--and with the world--especially from two thinkers of their caliber. I'm looking forward to getting these episodes out!

"The city-state will replace the nation-state in space." @maxmedina7 is one of 9 presenters at this afternoon's @InfinitaCity pitch event on this final, Day 3 at the Crypto City Summit. Max pitched his architecture startup, Astratis, inspired by his work as architect here at the @ProsperaZEDE on Roatan Island, Honduras. Moon dust, cancer-causing light in space, and other cosmic factors were discussed in Max's talk. In other talks, we heard about tokenizing real estate (@polibit_io), fertility research (@athena_DAO_ ), and network state governance (@Polis_Labs). These startups are novel and aim to move humanity forward; outside-the-box thinking, from inside the Dome here at Inifinita City, this community of groundbreaking thinkers and builders.

Like the many people now finding their home here at @InfinitaCity at @ProsperaZEDE, here is a little hermit crab I saw this morning in its new nomadic home here on Roatan:)

It's not all happening in the classroom. The Maker Space houses research and experiments on everything from DNA editing to chip implants to cultivating food and 3D printing. But back in Prof. Kealy's class this morning, yours truly was inspired to stand up for this "open mic" hour. I presented perhaps my own eye-popping idea about the shift in societies and the end of the nation-state. This is just a terrific community for introducing new ideas and cultivating ones attendees themselves introduce and discuss in this supportive atmosphere. Up next: The Crypto City Summit starting tomorrow!

@elonmusk Elon, I know you post so much you end up making some misstatements. But this one is just scary. What El Salvador is doing in their prisons breaks so many basic American norms of human decency. How have we gotten so off track?!

@elonmusk Their prisons break countless laws of ours regarding cruel and unusual punishment. Those advocating for this have lost track of basic decency.

School Supplies Delivered! Today, I lugged the suitcases down the trail to the community school at @Prosperahn, knocked on the door, and walked in like scholastic Santa Claus. Thank you for all these donations making their way from Minnesota to Roatan Island, Honduras. And with more cash chipped in after I departed, we'll have yet more to offer these children of Crawfish Rock! More to come, including some footage of the delivery. #education #charity #honduras #school

@PeterSchiff Correct. But drig legalization can't accompany soft-on-crime policies. Then you have the worst of both worlds like Portland tried.

@IanCarrollShow @elonmusk There's a comparison here between some militaries that hide behind children & other civilians and corrupt actors who hide their activity behind the funding for children's/humantarian causes.

Off to Honduras this morning with two stuffed suitcases of school supplies (thanks to the many supporters). And this is just a side quest. I'm heading down to take part and write a story about @InfinitaCity and the "startup city" on Roatan Island, @ProsperaGlobal, redefining how we can build a society in the 21st century. During Infinita's Crypto Cities Week, I'll also be recording a podcast with @MNblockchain. Much more to come! #humanity #cryptocurrency #biotech #schools #journalism

SUPER presentation last night. BIG thanks to all who came and volleyed many questions back to the night's presenter, Sgt. Jake Tuzinski. His talk on his fight against cyberscams put the spotlight on this troubling, rising trend.
Last night's presentation from Sgt. Jake Tuzinski connected us to the victims—and the scammers—behind the scourge of cyberscams harming untold lives across the world. "The scams are getting harder to trace. And we're falling more and more behind," said Tuzinski,

Since today is NFL Conference Championship Sunday, here's my opinion piece revealing the true culprit of why the Vikings consistently, remarkably fail. *** Want to Know Why the Vikings Continually Fall Short? It’s Cultural. What do you mean, Brandon? The Minnesota Vikings have a great culture. Last year, they ranked 2nd in the best teams to play for due to the great atmosphere, facilities, and staff. “This is most fun I’ve had playing football,” said new Viking Aaron Jones this past season. But the culture I’m referring to is bigger than that. I’m talking about Minnesota culture. I believe there is a link between a sports team’s attitude/energy and that which defines the locality in which they play. This was perhaps obvious way back when teams were made up of players from the area. But despite today’s world where players and staff are rarely from where their team is, I believe the link remains—particularly in a state like Minnesota with a strong local culture. And what is this culture? Talented, smart, friendly, hard-working. But tough, clutch, intimidating, and having a killer instinct? Not so much. Wait, are we talking about the Vikings or Minnesota in general? Yes. In their Week 4 win against the rival Packers, our talent and execution had the Vikings take an unheard of 28-0 lead in the first half playing in Green Bay. But instead of any kill shot, we let them work their way right back. Thanks to the Packers’ continued mistakes and the clock finally running out, we squeaked out a 31-29 win. We’ve seen this again and again, year after year: Talented Viking squads letting teams come back, playing poorly against lesser teams and eking out wins, and failing repeatedly in crunch time—in famously incredible ways—buckling under the pressure, choking games away. We’ve seen enough. And now so have non-Minnesotans. Sports channels on YouTube grace the platform with titles such as “The Minnesota Vikings: A Legacy of Failure,” “Why are the Minnesota Vikings Cursed?”, The Minnesota Vikings: How To FAIL Every Year," and “The Saddest Outlier in all of Sports.” These creators caught on to the crazy history of heartbreaking losses and have quantified that which we Minnesotans intuitively know: The Vikings are really good—and really good at falling short. Since 1966, they have had the 4th highest winning percentage of all the NFL teams and rank 6th in playoff appearances with 32, making them, by far, the best franchise to never win a championship. So what’s going on? After every heartbreak, pundits point out the trees but miss the forest. They blame our quarterback play, the play-calling, the offensive line, the refs, the kicker, and on and on. How many pieces are we going to add up before we realize it's something bigger? Well, let’s go even bigger and add other sports teams’ pieces to this picture...
