Today is a lesson in disruption, sung in the tune of C. Sturgill Simpson attended the #CMAAwards in 2017, but he didn’t exactly make it through security. He never even got to the doors. Instead, Sturgill disrupted the whole event. 👇

One of my favorite Toby Keith tales is how he jumped in to save the day for one of Merle Haggard's last shows. It was actually this time of year—Super Bowl time. Merle had cancelled months of shows, but needed to play this one to pay his crew. Enter Toby Keith. 👇

I like Zach Bryan. He has lyrical & storytelling talent. I am critical of his albums because I think he could go into the stratosphere—bigger than Morgan Wallen and maybe Taylor Swift— if he would slow down. His albums are rushed, poorly edited and need a producer. They've also

Zach Bryan is the Caitlin Clark of country music. Kinda yaps a lot but it’s harmless. He’s overall is a huge net positive for the genre. Other people rip on him, even some artist rip on him. All of them ignoring the fact he’s raising awareness of the entire indie country scene
