Last Friday was

on a Science reward trip.
These pupils were chosen to celebrate their outstanding achievements in Science.

Today we saw some brilliant results from our year 11 students with some fantastic individual successes for example: Francis- 4 grade 9s and 5 grade 8s, Natalia- 4 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s, 3 grade 7s and 1 grade 6 and Maia- 7 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s.

Today Bonus Pastor commemorated Armistice Day this year by hosting 5 schools and local parishes at the Downham memorial.
Our year 11 student Daniella Mbachu performed the last post beautifully and we had readers from Good Shepherd, Downderry, St Augustine’s and St John’s.
Bonus Pastor have achieved excellent results again! With 86% of students achieving pass grades in English and 75% in Maths, our students and staff are delighted with the progress made.
Well done to the year 7 and 8 boys for winning the Lewisham Schools rugby league competition.
They will now go on to represent Lewisham at the London Youth Games on 7th June.

Last Friday we said our final goodbyes to the

for their leavers prom. The students looked amazing and the evening was spent sharing past memories, creating final memories and singing and dancing the night away.

Our amazing Year 7 & 8 Rugby League team represented Lewisham in the London Youth Games Finals.
They performed heroically to get to the final but in an epic finale they were just pipped to the Gold Medal by the rugby powerhouse and Surrey Champions John Fisher.
The Bonus Pastor community is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

We have been so pleased to be able to bring back our annual MFL reward trip to Paris where students have been able to explore the French capital.
Yesterday they enjoyed a wonderful day at Disneyland.

Today Year 11 Gwyn House students opened a time capsule they put together 5 years ago back in Year 7!
The time capsule contained old photos, memories, and letters that students had written to themselves.
The House stall at the Christmas Fair is yesterday was a great success with the sweets selling out and the keyrings being a big hit too.

along with a number of important dignitaries and multiple international news teams. The Mayor broadcasted live his decision to expand the ULEZ zone in order to combat air pollution due to the devastating effects on health.

Yesterday was the last day for our year 11 students.
We had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with them having one final liturgy, handing out certificates and sharing the memories that have been created over the last 5 years.
The second and final fay of summer school is officially completed. Today the students learned more about their houses and then we had the first inter-house event of handball.
It was a close game and all played well but Gwyn were the house that came first.
Congratulations to our Year 9 Brilliant Club scholars who graduated last week and received their graduation certificates in Brighton. Thank you to Ms Morgan and Mr Elliot for supporting the students on this trip.
