@PastorMark @CTmagazine This was an Employee Retention Credit. We booked (per instructions from our auditors) the revenue in 2023 when we applied. We still haven't actually received it, alas. Our 990s are public.

@gravley_austin Yes and no. I understand what's meant, but also: One boomer relative of mine who watches just CBS or ABC or whatever is not at all worked up about politics etc. Another boomer relative who is on YouTube and RFK Jr. email lists is VERY worked up.

@LizWolfeReason That said, I have noticed a pattern of greater welcome for kids at restaurants substantially run by immigrants. At our favorite Chinese place, our kids once broke a plate. I was horrified. Our server just laughed and put us at ease and brought out the styrofoam.
