You forgot to turn Russia blue in 1994, when it joined the Partnership for Peace along with its neighbors. Also, the map omits the 1997 NATO-Russia Founding Act and the NATO-Russia Permanent Joint Council, a level of partnership offered to no other country.
@Flash_news_ua
Great! I assume it includes giving up Russian nuclear weapons, completely withdrawing from UA, accepting UA, MD, and GE in NATO, acknowledging Tsikhanouskaia as the president of BY, independence for Russia's captive nations, and democratic federalism for what's left?
So, exactly as you would suspect. Russia is financing the likes of Tucker Carlson and the Heritage Foundation through connections in Hungary, the country that would have been Russia's willing land bridge to western Europe if Ukraine had fallen. Traitors.
Why Heritage Foundation Flipped to be Pro-Russia
The

@Gerashchenko_en
I'm beginning to suspect the Russians are monitoring social media for gatherings to target. Svitlana Semeykina and Kristina Spitsyna announced they would be playing in Zaporizhzhia, where they were killed four days ago.
@SamRamani2
Isn't the point of these missiles that they don't need to be close to the target? Or is their range only 160 km because they are Russian-built garbage?
@WarTrackers
This is pretty much what NATO thought Russia was planning over the past 15 years or so, with its planes flying without transponders and ships coming close to Gotland. It explains Sweden's growing closeness with the alliance. Good to have confirmation.
@zhang_heqing
That's how an open society works. You have the freedom to criticize your country and speak out about problems without being imprisoned or shot, like in communist China.

@AngelWarriorUSA
For the most part, the US isn't sending money to Ukraine, but weapons and supplies at the end of their service life (Javelin, HIMARS, etc) but still better than Russian junk. The money spent buys new weapons that stay in the US - and it's still only 5% of the defense budget.
@WarTrackers
Note that if Russia actually tried any of this, it would get immediately squashed. Again, NATO figured this plan out a long time ago. It would not be "surprised."
@IAPonomarenko
Lukashenka seems to be doing the minimum to aid the Russian war effort, knowing that to do more would bring about his own demise, one way or another. He's now in the rare position of having Putin in his debt. Hard to imagine a big Wagner buildup in BY under the circumstances.
@NatalkaKyiv
Sure, the CIA sent its agents into a maximum-security gulag in the middle of ruzzia to kill Navalny, rather than when he was lying in a Berlin hospital bed. Makes perfect sense.

"Ukraine on Fire" is intended to sow confusion with the excellent "Winter on Fire" - a documentary about Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity.

It's just to buy time. Like proclaiming "partial" mobilization, when it wasn't. Now, "some will be sent home". It will be weeks before Russian families find out that this is not true.
@Gerashchenko_en
Also, Belarus seems to be forgotten in all this. It was, in theory, a neutral, non-nuclear state until 2022, and Putin put an end to this. There cannot be a peace settlement with the Russian army and nukes on its territory, ready to threaten Ukraine, Poland, and the Baltics.
@Gerashchenko_en
When I watch this crap, it always strikes me that probably everything you see, and everything involved in its production, was either made or designed in the West, from the cameras and production equipement, the sets and lighting, all the way to the presenters' hair products.
@IAPonomarenko
More to the point, what is Russia trying to achieve by encouraging a war against a country that had helpfully stayed "neutral" in Ukraine?
@Maks_NAFO_FELLA
We'll see if China is happy building on territory it recognizes as belonging to Ukraine. Just because it's under the sea bed doesn't mean it can't be blown up.

In one sense, it's good that Bush made that misguided speech (which, lest we forget, was heavily criticized at the time - hence the name). It shows the West did not want (or cause) the USSR to collapse, despite what Putin may claim.
@InfoAgeStrategy
This looks like a still from the film "The Last Days of the Ceausescus" rather than the real trial in 1989. Haven't seen the film, but it looks very authentic.
@Gerashchenko_en
None of these policies, if implemented, would benefit Russians in any way, and would in fact leave the country at the mercy of China. This is what happens when your policies are entirely derived from an inferiority complex and a concomitant inability to form friendships.
@nexta_tv
You've got to wonder what the point of large-scale conflict with the West would be, besides assuaging Russia's, and Putin's, longstanding jealousy and inferiority complex.

Nice fake. The international dialing code in North America is 011, not 00 (which is international operator assistance). They would not prefix a domestic telephone number with this, but 1. Also, they would spell it "Defense".

The good thing is, it makes a huge cloud that Ukrainians can use to identify the location of large numbers of Russian soldiers that are unable to see anything, along with their equipment.
Germany gives South Africa โฌ355 million in development assistance, and it turns around and supplies Russia with weapons for its war crimes. This funding should be stopped immediately and diverted to aid for Ukraine.
@P_Kallioniemi
If this relatively minor figure is getting 600,000 euros, imagine how much the Kremlin would be willing to pay to the likes of Tucker Carlson.
Russian chauvinist opera singer Anna Netrebko, an Austrian citizen, wears a T-shirt with the wartime slogan "To Berlin" along with the Putinite ribbon of St. George. Despite this, she is set to perform in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The reason "foreign media and human rights organizations remain silent" about "Ukraineโs shelling attacks targeting civilians in Donetsk" is because there aren't any. And, just a reminder, Donetsk is part of Ukraine under totalitarian Russian occupation.

"Russia is innocent because of its ancient past"... I think by now we know Russia's/Muscovy's past isn't so ancient, and its co-opting of Ukraine's history has much to do with this dangerous inferiority complex.

Exactly. Rule of law: High-ranking officials did something bad, authorities collected evidence and arrested them. Next they will go on trial and possibly face punishment. And, no one is above the law.
