@peterktodd @MrHodl @RawBTC @BullBitcoin_ @payjoindevkit The current implementation only tries to do it for free by consolidating a relatively large input. We could also try to use multiple inputs + subset sum magic, which costs more fees if you don't want the consolidation discount, but we don't do that yet.

BullBitcoin decided not to use UIH avoidance for initial rollout, but @payjoindevkit does include UIH avoiding coin selection utilities. Blacklisting would be tricky since even Core produces UIH-conforming transactions sometimes
