1: The progression. Terraria's progression system is a masterpiece. You go from nothing to killing Cthulhu in very clean & well-crafted steps. Earlygame can be rough not knowing what to do, but the Guide NPC tells you everything you need to know from the start. (3/25).

You can mod the game fairly easily! (more on that later!) Terraria keeps a good, consistent difficulty through the game. Bosses get harder and harder, but YOU get better and better. Some may take a lot of attempts, others first try. Enemies themselves also get harder, (10/25).
