Never forget that NRS put "crossplay" as a feature to the game on Steam preorders... Then a few days later got rid of it and didn't say anything about it until people started asking questions.
6 months later we still wont have complete crossplay. This whole thing is scummy.

As a mega MK fan, I have played the game MUCH less because of this and I imagine less dedicated MK fans have left altogether. This launch has been terrible

Why does NRS make really unsafe moves a chore to punish?
Some moves low profile on recovery like the one in the video.
Fatal blows have the wonkiest block stun and push back.
Are these design choices? Oversights? I just don't get how the same problems persist game after game.

I can't imagine SF6 losing. Its better in almost every way. MK1 is incomplete, has had bugs and issues. They focus on creating price gouging DLC rather than adding previous staples back into the game that have been omitted. No connection filter or crossplay.
Step it up NRS.

Its active for like 1.5 seconds
I remember it being active 4 seconds and having to block 5050s behind it.
And if you guessed right he could cancel his string and literally throw the klone at your face and be plus lol

That's how fighting games work though. Footsies is moving in n out of your opponent's range to get them to whiff and punish them. I use the same combo because it is optimized for the highest damage. Should someone use unoptimized combos to appease their opponent's feelings?

In Mortal Kombat 1 online..
I notice that close to 100% of the time when someone has a trash connection their messages and profile are completely blocked. You can't even send them a message.
This leads me to believe that their connection is this way on purpose.

People talk about buffing kameos but I don't think that will make the game better.
Kameos need to compliment the character, not make the character.
Buff characters, nerf kameos. That's the only way you will see real variety in the game.

Always online games are trash.
I opened Mortal Kombat 1 and servers are down. I had no kameos. I wanted to lab Shang and Lao.
I restarted the game and now I have the kameos and no Shang.
Please fix this. The servers will not always be active.

The input lag online in MK1 is absolutely crazy. Its gotta be the most on an MK game since MK9 or pre rollback MKX.

I'm a firm believer in using what is the strongest and what suits you best.
I gotta be honest tho... poke/string into specials into Cyrax all match is pretty boring. Not sure how they can change it but this meta is kinda blah right now.

As I level up in rank in Mortal Kombat 1 the connections get worse and I see MORE wifi.
When I reach Master level+ in SF6, I see more wired connections.
Why do you think this is so different between the two games?

NRS should give us the rationale for changing ranked from FT3 to FT2.
I didn't see people calling for it outside of a few unhinged posts.
I would like to hear what went into the decision making process, especially when tournaments are FT3
