Very excited to share this work recently published in @acsnano from my time as an undergrad! With a massive international team of wonderful collaborators, we explored the sequence determinants of self-assembly and hydrogel formation of a peptide fragment of a human protein.
.@bhpogostin and team investigate the chemical mechanisms behind the hierarchical assembly of a chemically complex 13-residue peptide #hydrogel derived from human semenogelin I (SgI). #cryoTEM @haverfordedu @lunduniversity

Check out this preprint detailing the largest project from my PhD! With the help of an amazing team of collaborators, we developed a supramolecular peptide hydrogel platform that leverages dynamic covalent bonding to release a wide variety of therapeutically relevant payloads.
Very excited to have this preprint up on bioRxiv (! A real tour de force by @bhpogostin developing an injectable hydrogel system that extends the release of small-molecule, peptide, and protein drugs using dynamic covalent bonding. (1/7)

I finally joined the preprint club with my first ever article posted to bioerxiv! @erineuliano and I followed up on some of my early PhD vaccine work, and we were able to enhance the adjuvancy of a self-assembling peptide by adding a small-molecule TLR7 agonist.
Check out my lab's first ever preprint ( by @erineuliano and @bhpogostin who modified a TLR7 agonist with a self-assembling peptide to create an adjuvant with the same (or greater) improvement in humoral immunity that you've come to love from alum + (1/2)
