The problem with this accusation is it can be made right back in response. “You say I’m narrow minded because you’re narrow minded.” Ein ladovor sof. That’s why I *try* to argue with the argument itself and not the persons intentions. But I often fail because I’m also narrow minded

My more charitable take on frum hesitancy is that the whole world is pretty new on its mainstream focus of exercise A reaction to a more sedentary high calorie lifestyle, as well as more science on the benefits And the frum world is always slow to adopt, many times for good reason and to their benefit But in this case there seems to be more, a kind of sunk cost fallacy, that if we admit exercise today is a good thing how do we explain our elders being overweight and not caring In meantime, guys our age are falling apart and at major health risk which is entirely preventable
