@Ivana2804 @NextBestPicture Technically yes, but when I mean period drama I mean in the literary tradition (posh English/transatlantic accents, period costumes and sets etc). And yes his previous films are tonally similar but none of them are remakes of an important classic silent film.

@Ivana2804 @NextBestPicture True, but everyone thought they’d treat this sequel like they did Return of the King and give it all the awards. Box office performance doesn’t necessarily matter so much but yeah, WB did the film dirty by delaying it from Q3/Q4 2023 to Q1 2024.
