@AmandaAskell The turn-based conversation model feels like a kludge. It should fluidly move in and out of the driverās seat as a human would. Ideally it would also be able to decide to sit and think for a bit, and refine its previous response with a follow up message. Agents need more agency.

Thanks for the shoutout, @Hacubu! It was a pleasure to work on this with you guys, and I still canāt believe that Iāll be joining the team in less than two short weeks! Really looking forward to the year ahead! š
š„³ Thanks to the entire @LangChainAI š¦š JS/TS community for making 2024 fantastic! We passed 20 MILLION core downloads in 2024 (LangGraph.js + LangChain.js >0.0.x), and 2.6 million in November alone! And I'd like to single out a few contributors in particular... š§µ (1/11)

@t3dotgg nice job actually following through on the promise of exposure re: the UT design contest. I'm curious, now that it's over, would you do it again? If a ton more people participated, how would you scale it? I imagine design contest award shows aren't a great YT niche.

@nicksdjohnson Are you paying for work output, or buying shares? For profit companies (VC-funded or otherwise) absolutely can and do produce works that are public goods (e.g. FOSS). Why would it be a bad thing if some VC-funded firms were incentivised to do more of that?

@slaterkodish that tree was a ficus? It might not have died. They're divas and like to drop their leaves like crazy. If you still have it, check in with r/marijuanaenthusiasts on reddit (r/trees was taken). They'll hook you up.

@Modular_AI I'm afraid that your survey has a fatal flaw, and you're probably getting bad data as a result. It assumes that respondents are currently employed. Incentivising the survey compounds this issue, as it gives the respondent motivation to lie.

@Modular_AI your JDs say "this role is based out of North America." Does that mean that you only consider candidates who are physically located in NA?
