T2 is so overdesigned . It’s a peak example of flashy shit that wastes public money, conceptualised on autocad by car drivers with no sense of human scale. I had to walk almost 2km to get from plane to the exit. They literally have a golf cart INSIDE the terminal to move people.

This is a design problem - the entire station has been built without keeping people, their behaviour or maintenance costs in mind . SWR’s only motivation while building this seems to have been to make it ‘look’ like an airport.

Church Street has been reclaimed from vendors who had encroached every bit of pedestrian walk. BBMP evicted more than 70 of them and restored to its originality.

I think one of the reasons it feels like this is because our city's current built form doesn't encourage people to spend time outdoors . There's no cross pollination if everyones trapped inside their one of three bubbles 99% of the time.
What I hate about BLR is everyone trying to do the same thing. Same cafés, same roles, same fits, same weekend activities, same ‘ol pickleball/run clubs. Unlike other metros (MUM, DEL, KOL) where there’s varied set of folks doing different things. Just a personal perspective.

It was advertised as Bengaluru’s first air conditioned railway terminal. If you go there today you’ll see the AC is permanent off. But because they designed it for AC there’s no natural ventilation - inside it’s a hot glass box. Really awful design, worst railway station in blr.

Appreciation post for @YuluBike . They’ve made my edge case last mile trips much easier to pull off. It’s nice to take a bus knowing that at the end of it there’s a Yulu to fall back on if I don’t wanna walk or take an auto . The new models have greatly improved suspension also.
