after a year of work I wrapped my latest short film last night… it’s raining outside and I’m curled up in a blanket watching cecil b. demented (2000) midday… girl who is going to be okay
experimenting with an idea I had to hit shuffle and stream-of-consciousness doodle for the duration of each song, letting the music take over.

highly recommend after yang (2021) dir. kogonada. a concise and gripping meditation on grief, memory, and roots, intertwined into the potential emotional implications of AI’s rise. beautifully crafted & acted, with a haunting theme by sakamoto to boot.
