Touchy story, pagan wizard. Now, onto some real history, Kristian. The Middle Ages were brought about by the Dark Ages. In which you Germanic barbarians invaded and collapsed the Western Roman Empire. We Romans in the East survived and flourished because we annihilated you.
This is a castle from the High Middle Ages (1000 to 1300). It is not from the Dark Ages (476 to 1000) at all. But, whilst on the topic, why do you think they NEEDED to build like that in the Middle Ages? Yeah, because of Muslim war bands (penetrating deep into Europe because our borders were left unguarded by the Christians), unemployed Irish mercenaries (formerly working for the Brits), different Christian armies, and 'Crusader' armies looting, murdering, and burning their way through the land. It was a terrible time. The "Dark" part of the "Dark Ages" refers to the black hole left for historians, though, by the Christians - who removed all evidence they could find of their own hideous conduct during the forced and brutal "Christianization" of Europe. The records talking about how they tortured people, kidnapped children and took them hostage, raped women and children alike, etc., didn't fit their narrative of a "voluntary mass conversion". The records that survived their book pyres all talk about how they actually behaved. E. g. the Norse Sagas, where Christians BOAST of having behaved as I describe above, including pouring melted metals down the throats to murder 'Pagans', only because they REFUSED to accept their worthless, Semitic death cult and their alien idol as their "savior".

What did you expect from an Albanian. They committed crimes for their Ottoman masters and their Nazi handlers, and now they play the victim. I find it funny that they have the audacity to call Serbs "satanic". History doesn't have the short memory these Albanians do.
@memsupersilver This is my local church, and the frescos were painted to portray the various crimes against us throughout modern history. To call our way of remembering these crimes "Satanic" just because we're also criticising the NATO bombings is just downright disgusting and ignorant of you.

Nothing is forgotten. February 9, 1944. ~10:00. Kalymnos. RAF Bristol Beaufighters open fire with rockets & machine gun the house of my grandmother's sister, during the funeral for her father in law. They killed her, 2 of her children, and 100+ guests. Her husband went insane.
