I don’t have the time to break this down yet but the body differences look more evident now. SKZOO have longer limbs that allow them to pose with their joints bent and fingers, while ANITEEZ have stubbier limbs and no fingers.

14. Moving onto the hotly debated one: ANITEEZ. Personally, I don’t find them that similar, the art style is different. To me, any similarities are inevitable because some are based on the same animal/emoji, and I see the design team at KQ has made efforts to distinguish them.

ANITEEZ also has monitor dolls which SKZOO doesn’t have as far as I’m aware of. So these are proof that they’re not plagiarizing.
Also their standard plush keyrings are full body and not head only. They also don’t have the tsum-tsum type charm.

37. In conclusion, the animal mascots aren’t a new thing. SKZOO precedes ANITEEZ and RIIZE’s mascots & are very popular now. They are bound to have similarities but it’s up to the creative team to work their way around it as there is a difference between plagiarism & inspiration.

Zoomed in to see the arm difference. We can see the thumb details on Han Quokka. The feet are also different with SKZOO’s protruding out to allow them to wear detailed shoes, while ANITEEZ have straighter legs with the feet being not that noticeable.
