... anyway, such nonsense aside, in case anybody who reads my tripe doesn't know already I'm also available in federated form at @baljemmett@mastodon.online. (Was going to leave that until I'd settled in over there with an introductory post - after 2 years! - but, uh, well.)

@mumoss There were a few bits I liked in season 2 (as well as a few bits I didn't), but season 3 appears to basically ignore it entirely so you won't miss out on anything relevant or be left scratching your head if you skip it.

@xa329 @MeikeJoh @JoeSondow @EmojiTetra @EmojiTetraFast @EmojiSnakeGame Welp, that's about it for this place then. Can we get an F in the chat for Joe's little fun oases in the hellscroll, please?

@Superbreeze_Bex Ooh ooh what are you planning on putting in it? Also, I keep meaning to ask - did you manage to overwinter your coleus in the end?

@TokenScandi @JoeSondow @HatsForAts Ah! If I head to Joe's 'tweets-and-replies' tab I can see both of them... *shakes head, but not too vigorously in case the movement causes even more bits to fall off this accursed place*

@MrDrem @cybergibbons OK, now I'm feeling a bit peckish. Thank you for bringing this splendid-sounding idea to my attention, Mr. Gibbons!

@mumoss I did wonder yesterday if you'd deactivated and the timing was a coincidence, or if you'd got caught up in a sweep of naughty naughty people who dare publish things elsewhere... Decided not to ask you on the F-word, since the answer would hardly change the state of this place!

@Canadian_Errant I've seen then sold as 'butterfly clips', but some of them are actually styled to resemble butterflies which doesn't help much!

@Canadian_Errant My little white ones are going great guns this year. The hyacinths they share a bed with (coincidentally also white) aren't quite as happy though for some reason. I should remember to take a photo at some point!

@LuigiThirty Oh, hey, is that what I'd need to make my copy of DisplayWrite store voice memos alongside my actual memos? Cool!

@Superbreeze_Bex Nah, that's bollocks. It is just a bellows camera seen from the side, not some bizarre articulated thing that doesn't actually look like a CCTV camera drawn in a style not seen on any other road signs. People are just being weird today for some reason.

@lproven I have a couple to go with the terminals for my (somewhat exploded, sadly) AS/400. One might even be NIB, if I had any idea where that B was... Only problem is they speak a variant of the PS/2 protocol over an 8P8C connector; one day I'll get around to building an adapter!

@MLE_Online I've been very pleased with my Xperia 10 IV, but that comes with caveats: you have to be into the extra-tall form-factor, and I'm not sure whether the 10 (cheapest of the range) is even available in the US. The 5 and 1 are a bit pricey for my tastes!

@xlerb What a complete and utter bellend that man is. (They also appear to have taken away the '[so and so] retweeted' context for RTs on my Latest timeline, so that's fun and exciting and not at all irritating. Think I might give up for today.)

@mumoss @charlesnove @3clicksfromdoom @zaphodbeebledoc This confused me for a moment - surely it wasn't *that* long ago - and then I looked up the dates. Welp. This is what 'old' feels like, I guess.

@RobertDL3RR @matseng Jonesforth is also worth a look - it's a good read even if you never actually run it. I used it as the basis for the Forth on my homebrew machine by following a "read each comment, discard the i386 assembler underneath and write some of my own" strategy one evening.
