@selz_j The Real Thing also made me think of the Tony Di Bart song ... but that didn't help either! #PopMaster

@melv4760 (Ditto on not liking one-hit-wonders as a bonus category, I mean — not that your sister also phoned me. )#PopMaster

@ItsAndyRyan @TheSimonEvans Colin Murray replacing Anne Robinson on ‘Countdown’ has been a massive improvement, but I feel that doesn't really count because there were earlier hosts who were also good.

@ItsAndyRyan @TheSimonEvans Interesting. On occasions when the current host is making the show too much about them, my memory is of Angus Deayton being a more detached host, chairing the event but leaving the discussions to the teams, and I think I preferred that. But my memory may be faulty. Or selective.

@Poptones64 Also 27 for me. I wasn't sure whether to go Westlife or Boyzone until Ken said 1999. I remember they did Comic Relief 80s covers 2 years apart, and Boyzone came first. #PopMaster

@selz_j Also 15 for me — none of the bonuses (I wouldn't've picked 80s) but I I thought I did quite well on the rest! #PopMaster

@mrliamdurkin If 2 singles by an artist are different recordings and have different titles, they count as 2 for #PopMaster 3-in-10, yes? Cos it seems the original was ‘I'm Gonna Be’, and the charity version ‘500 Miles’ (each with bits in brackets, but you don't need those bits for 3-in-10).

@melv4760 Erm, the year *was* 1978 — so give yourself another 3 points! I said 1977, and was One Year Out. Just 12 for me on those, no bonuses. #PopMaster

@KayleighAnslow Same 3 Dions (on my shirt) for me, though I then had to check for ‘It's All Coming Back to Me Now’ that it wasn't just the Meat Loaf version that made the charts. #PopMaster

@SARamsay1 Yes, ‘Downtown’ was a bonus — one of those confusing ones where they play an Emma Bunton song that you've never heard before while the actual question is “Guess which Petula Clark hit I'm thinking of.” #PopMaster

@VincentVanCloth It could've been: I got 33 on that round (after 9 on round 1!), and several of my answers were guesses. #PopMaster

@Elizabeth241072 It followed the rule: If you don't know a #PopMaster missing-word question, guess “Love”. Doesn't always work, but gets points often enough to be worth trying.
