This is one of those anime moments that left a huge impression on me. I wanted to just help people understand, even if it’s just one person, to understand me as a trans woman. That was originally one of the reasons I made this account.

@Alphafox78 Funny thing is that these aren’t trans women in one piece. They are transvestites. The trans women in this arc actually got medically changed from a transvestite who took the hormone hormone fruit. He turned them into beautiful women.

Acknowledging the biological differences of transsexual people doesn’t mean we can’t treat all transgender people like they matter, like their names and pronouns should be honored,.

I want to make it clear. As a trans woman I think it’s possible to be a woman in society, and I think it’s possible to argue that given enough transition you can change sex. That doesn’t mean I don’t acknowledge biological reality. It also doesn’t mean I’m a pickme.

This study given does not account for transgender women who have undergone transition prior to conviction and/or having a GRC (gender recognition certificate). The individuals could easily self identify into trans status for better placement and other privileges in prisons.
