The motorist who killed Martyn has been jailed for 4.5 years. She waited until the start of the trial to plead guilty. Nothing will bring him back. His friend James continues to live with life-changing injuries. Put your phone away when driving. ๐ค๐ฑ๐

It's perfectly legal and I won't criticise anyone for reaching a different conclusion to me, but please think carefully about riding far from home or where ice is likely. The roads are busy, there are no ambulances and you don't want to catch Covid in hospital.

Venge stolen by two balaclava wearing guys on one moped. Clubmate was pushed off it coming down Archway Road in Highgate London at about 5.05am. Police informed. Please be vigilant for yourselves and in case you see anything. Make it too hot to handle.

If you see a dockless bike causing an obstruction and youโre physically able to do so, just grab it by the saddle and move it out of the way. Much more helpful to pram and wheelchair users than posting pics for likes.

I made it to Brighton (mostly) off-road again. Commons, lanes, Downs Link. South Downs Way was too much for me after a long day. Pizza then train back. Iโm quite tired TBH. I do love my gravel bike.

Just to be clear, this HGV driver isnโt breaking the Park Regs as for better or worse (itโs Taste of London gear) he has permission, and I have no issue with his driving. But stillโฆ itโs a bit daft isnโt it. 3 of these trucks in the Inner Circle this morning.

This is awful. Well done to the passing cyclists for trying to put themselves between the dog and the deer, sadly too late to save her. She had to be put to sleep due to the bite wounds and a broken leg inflicted by a motorist.

who control the area. Unless they've passed a new bylaw the policy is "Pedestrian priority - considerate cycling welcome". Of course it's not a great place to do it at many times of the day - just too busy.

This is heartbreaking. From the Brompton to the tandem, from my TT bike to my daughter's Islabike, there isn't a bike that Sam and Dave haven't fixed with skill and a smile. Sometimes while I had some breakfast upstairs, or a burger on my birthday. Au revoir the best LBS ever ๐
