I see Corteva Agriscience came out with a corn smart phone yield estimator. I have one for soybean. Take a picture of your field. The yield estimate will be 50bpa +\- 50bpa. I think it should be pretty close...

Sage advise from Tom N .. beans need a few days before stand counts. Tops fried off on both and main growing point is dead. Pic 1 is dead completely. Pic 2 has 2 growing points alive. It will send up 2 shoots from these spots. Take 3 days or so to decide what needs replant.

We saw no yield differences among soybean traits (E3, LLGT27, and RR2X) on a state (P=0.89) or regional (P=0.55) basis in WI. We did not have enough RR or RR2Y entries to test against.

I know everyone is concerned about the drought but now is the best time to have one for soybean. Even in high yield situations less than 15% of total DM is achieved by R1. If it starts raining in July and through August we will be just fine...if you can kill the weeds!
