@ElieNYC’s Allow Me to Retort is must read. I had the privilege to write an essay reviewing Retort for @michlawreview. In my essay, I explore Retort’s brilliance and imagine a new, more inclusive constitution.

This piece is special to me. I conceived of this project during a text exchange with my brother. He unexpectedly passed away at 39 while I was working on it. I miss him. I am forever grateful to @YaleLJournal—their editors are brilliant and kind. So much love went into this.
W&L Law prof Brandon Hasbrouck @b_hasbrouck has published “Prisons as Laboratories of Antidemocracy,” in the @YaleLJournal. The piece examines how various antidemocratic policies first tested in American prisons have been deployed outside prison walls.
