@alikat747 I did not ever say that referenda are a panacea. In fact, I said the this election they allowed a certain subset of women voter to vindicate their interest in abortion rights while pivoting to vindicate their economic interests w/ Trump.

@alikat747 Walk that back, friend. I did not say that. I said it is likely that ballot referenda can be more effectively used in the midterms. And then I laid out the hellscape that will unfold across three branches of government. Keep my name outta this nonsense.

@CliffBaxter4 I'm not suggesting that this is partisan... I'm just saying that the long lines are a deterrent, which can suppress the vote. There should be more capacity to accommodate the demand (and the demand was predictable). That's a species of suppression--for all prospective voters.
