This new found honesty (also heard amongst labour) is curious. There’s been little honesty abt what got us here ie abysmal ideology driven politics (austerity, taking back control without a clue of what that means, Corbynism etc). Let’s not feel too sorry

Correlation is not causation - as @nedwards_1 and @sib313 have pointed out, there issues with the analysis which make any firm conclusion questionable. If we paid as much attention to avoidable deaths within the NHS as we obsess with private providers, lives could be saved.
NEW Oxford University study published in The Lancet shows private care is associated with more death and worse outcomes. Shocker…less staff and more short cuts in the name of profit is bad for patients! Who knew? NHS privatisation
