Prevalence of cardiovascular symptoms in post-acute COVID-19 syndrome: a meta-analysis 😡For those big mouths still in denial, #YouOnlyHaveOneHeart 👇 ➡️This meta-analysis, which includes 37 studies, provides an overview of the prevalence of long-term cardiovascular sequelae of COVID-19 and investigates whether COVID-19 infection is a risk factor for cardiovascular symptoms. ➡️Our findings indicate that nearly 15% of COVID-19 patients experience cardiovascular sequelae. ➡️Compared with uninfected individuals, COVID-19 infection is associated with an increased likelihood of developing cardiovascular sequelae. ‼️This highlights the significant cardiovascular burden among COVID-19 survivors, consistent with prior research indicating long-term sequelae in this population. 😢Now wait for the C19 reinfections………
