OK, so I read the Brandon Sanderson article in Wired. I’m not going to share it, because it doesn’t deserve it. What I will say is that it’s repetitive, over-long structurally messy and tonally all over the place. I’m not sure this is the guy to be judging another writer. :/

Bookbub is great for promoting books, but I really wish they’d change this message. The idea that you’re ‘overpaying’ for ebooks really diminishes the amount of time, effort, talent and craft that goes into creating stories. Authors deserve to be paid for their work.

Went to the Ray Harryhausen exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Incredible to see these models that were used to make films I adored as a kid. Also cool to learn more about his career and inspirations, and to see how his pre-CGI technique worked.
