The Constitution gives power of the purse to Congress, not the President. By trying (& failing) to cancel student debt the President is cancelling that part of the Constitution. But it did what he wanted. He got their votes.

I get the very real feeling there are groups in & out of gov't that meet together to control the narrative we hear each day. I truly believe they have algorithms for mass persuasion. They have feedback methods to gauge the success of their efforts in order to tweak our response.
