Reece Waddell, “Nate Henry guided Aubrey to its most successful season in 10 years, as the Chaps advanced to the 4A Region II quarterfinal. Aubrey was ranked in the top 10 in TX at various points in the season and finished 30-6.”

Congratulations to Vicky Howard who is retiring after 30 years of teaching in public schools! Mrs. Howard taught science at Aubrey ISD for 16 years. She started out teaching 6th grade science for one year and then taught 8th grade science for the last 15 years.

AHS Senior, Erin Griffin won 20,000 in scholarships at the San Antonio Stock Show. She won 10k in the All Breed High Point Western and 10k in the All Breed High Point All-Around. Griffin plans on using the scholarships to attend Texas A&M in the fall.

AHS freshman, Sarah Auer competed at the TX USA Gymnastics Level 7 State Championship. She placed 1st in the vault and 2nd in the all-around and bars events.
